India offers bonded manufacturing facilities for units doing export-oriented activity under the 100% EOU scheme. The unit can get a location of its choice Customs bonded for undertaking export-oriented activity. The scheme is essentially modelled on the Special Economic Zone Scheme, but with modifications.

The activity can be manufacturing/service sector. The unit shall be a positive Net Foreign Exchange (NFE) earner. 

Development Commissioner, CSEZ is the licencing authority for 100% EOUs situated in Kerala, Karnataka, Lakshwadeep and Mahe.

For providing speedy and timely assistance to the 100% EOUs located in the state of Karnataka a sub office of CSEZ is functioning in Bangalore.
