Dear CEO,

As you are aware CSEZ Administration has been making all out efforts to maintain a hassle free environment for the CSEZ units and the personnel employed by them. In the interest of the zone units, we have not been permitting any external agency including statutory authorities/court representatives to enter the premises of the units for serving notices/ summons etc. When any outside agency arrives at the Gate for either serving summons/notices or even sometimes for taking away mortgaged machinery, the Security personnel deployed at the gate do not allow them entry to the units. The units are immediately contacted and they are advised to send their representative to receive the summons/notice or interact with the outside agency. This is in fact a protection that we offer to our units. However, quite often it has come to our notice that some of the units take such issues very lightly and they do not immediately respond as a result of which the statutory authorities are made to wait at the Gate for long hours. This not only irks the visitor who sometimes makes an abrupt exit without waiting to handover the summons/notices etc. but also puts the CSEZ administration in an embarrassing situation.

CEOs are personally requested to look into such issues and also apprise the concerned officers in their units of the seriousness of such lapses. In the event of the representative of the unit not arriving at the gate to interact with the visiting official, we would be constrained to allow all such officials to enter the unit and thus forfeit the protection that is being afforded to the units by CSEZ. You are, therefore requested to ensure that as and when the gate officer informs the units about the arrival of the official of the statutory body/or any other Government department, the unit should immediately respond by deputing a responsible person to the gate. 

In future, such lapses on the part of the units will be viewed as a breach of the conditions of the LOP and punitive action will be initiated against the erring units.
