NOTICE INVITING QUOTATIONS

 

1.1               The Competent Authority of Cochin Special Economic Zone, hereinafter referred to as CSEZ, has appointed KITCO Ltd., hereinafter referred to as KITCO, as its Consultants and accordingly, KITCO, for an on behalf of CSEZ, invites sealed quotations from competent persons for the shifting of 22 numbers barrels, each containing about 200 litres of transformer oil from the present location near the 110 kV substation to CETP building of CSEZ at Kakkanad.

 

1.2               The quotations shall be submitted in the accompanied form.

 

1.3               The invitation for quotations is open to all persons competent to execute such work. The successful bidder is required to employ sufficient number of labourers and necessary equipment for the safe transfer of the barrels. The work also includes stacking the barrels as directed by the competent persons.

 

1.4               The work shall be completed within two days from the date of issue of Work Order.

 

1.5               The Bid Accepting Authority (BAA) shall be the Jt. General Manager, KITCO Site Office, CSEZ Administrative Office, Kakkanad, Cochin – 682037, Ernakulam or his authorised representative. The bid documents shall be available with the Jt. General Manager, KITCO Site Office, CSEZ Administrative Office, Kakkanad, Cochin – 682037, or can be downloaded from CSEZ web site: www.csez.com. Submission of a bid by a bidder implies that he has read this notice and all other bid documents and has made himself aware of the scope.

 

1.6               Quotations shall be received by the Jt. General Manager, KITCO Site Office, CSEZ Administrative Office, Kakkanad, Cochin – 682037 upto 15:00 Hrs. on 28.09.2007 and shall be opened on the same day at 15:30 Hrs in the presence of bidders who may be present. The BAA reserves the right to reject any or all the bids with out assigning any reason.

 

1.7               The validity of the bids shall remain open for acceptance for a period of thirty days from the date of opening of the bids.

Terms and Conditions

 

1.       The work shall be executed keeping all security provisions maintained in the Zone.

2.       All tools, plants, equipment and any other services required for the work shall be arranged and paid by the bidder.

3.       Utmost care shall be taken while executing the work to keep the items being shifted in safe condition.

4.       KITCO/CSEZ shall be kept indemnified against all losses, compensation and claims for injuries or damages to any person or property while executing the work.

5.       Payment towards the above work shall be made on satisfactory completion of the work.

6.       Any statutory payment due from the payment made shall be deducted at source
